Man wanted in connection with robbery, assault

Police are seeking the public’s assistance locating a subject wanted in connection with the armed robbery and aggravated assault of an acquaintance.
Darcey Darrell Crocker, 47, of the 1400 block of Sierra Drive, has warrants on file for two counts of armed robbery; use of a firearm in commission of a felony; shoot, stab, cut or wound in commission of a felony; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and grand larceny, according to a city press release.
The charges are related to incidents that occurred on the morning of Aug. 8 at the Motel 6 in the 2800 block of Pruden Boulevard, according to the release.
Crocker is described as a black male with a medium complexion, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 159 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text the keyword SPDVATIP and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
