Margaret Ellen Foster, 84, of Suffolk, Va., passed away Dec. 24, 2010. She was born in East Prairie, Mo. She was the daughter of the late Alma Chunn and Henry Sweet.

Margaret retired as a real estate office manager. She was a member of the Celebration Christian Church and its Life Group.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 63 years, George Marion Foster; daughters, Belinda J. Adkins, of Kennett Square, Pa., and Alice C. Worthington, of Suffolk, Va.; son, Steven L. Foster, of Amelia, Va.; 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and sisters Aletha Heil and Martha Johnson.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Dan Knust officiating. Burial will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Friends may join the family Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to Celebration Christian Church, P.O.
