Hubert Lloyd Scott Jr., 85, of Thaxton, Va., passed away Nov. 14, 2010.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va., with the Rev. John Bright and the Rev. Joe Shoop officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Timberidge Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lexington, Va. Friends may join the family Tuesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Patti and Ray Winslow.
