WINDSOR — James Williams Jr., 64, departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 in Sentara Obici Hospital. He was the son of the late Virginia Annie Hill and James Williams Sr.

His survivors include three sisters: Gracie Ruffin, Rebecca Harris and Audrey Williams; one brother: Arthur Williams (Geraldine); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 at Shivers Funeral Chapel, 12749 Courthouse Highway, Smithfield, by the Rev. Roy Stokes. Viewing will be held on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in Tynes Cemetery.
