Fannie Riddick, 76, of 1015 Cogic Square, Suffolk, passed away Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 in Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation Health Care Center. She was a native of Nansemond County, Va., and the daughter of the late Matthew Towns and Josephine R. Towns. She was also deceased by her husband, Willie Riddick; one son, Lyndon Riddick.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Jessie Riddick, of Suffolk; four sons, Alton Riddick and Patrick Riddick, both of Suffolk, Earl R. Goodman (Donna), of Richmond, Va., and Kenneth Riddick (Tenille), of Norfolk; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Rosa Towns and Josephine Warren, both of Suffolk, Dora Harrison, of Windsor, Va., and Elizabeth Sharpe, of Newport News, Va.; four brothers, Ernest Lee Towns (Shirley), of Windsor, Va., Eddie Towns (Mildred), of Smithfield, Va., James Towns and Rufus Towns (Carol), both of Suffolk; a daughter-in-law, Alice Riddick; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010 in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc., officiated by Elder Larry Gray. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
